SWU Japan - Who we are
Stand with Ukraine Japan is a non-profit organization, which originated in response to the start of russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022.
We are ordinary people - evacuated and resident Ukrainians, Japanese, and others - who live in Japan and who care about the fate of innocent people, Ukraine’s sovereignty and independence.
Our Mission
⇨ To remind people that the russian terrorist war is still raging on and that Ukraine needs help and support every day.
⇨ To help overcome the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine as Ukrainians defend themselves and the rest of Europe from invaders.
⇨ To share the beauty and depth of Ukrainian culture and traditions.
What We Do
Raising funds for humanitarian needs in Ukraine. Delivering the funds to volunteers of various trusted local organizations in Ukraine.

TO WHOM
75 volunteer organizations and charitable foundations in Ukraine, including NGO Casers, Hospitallers Medical Battalion, charitable foundations Caritas, Pivdenna Palianytsia, Tiko Fund and Kran, NGO Kordon.UA, NGO Desna and others.
Volunteer Activity
・Our volunteers work in 19 out of 25 regions of Ukraine, and in total more than 200 volunteers help us physically and virtually.
・In Japan, while the main activities are around the Kanto region, we are always looking for cooperation with local organizations throughout Japan.
Weekly peaceful demonstrations
In the heart of Tokyo - in front of Shinjuku Station.
Charity events
Theme parties, charity dinners, workshops, concerts, lectures, festivals, etc. - spreading awareness and sharing Ukrainian culture, as well as fundraising.
Support for Ukrainians
Supporting Ukrainian artists, craftsmen, manufacturers and business owners affected by the full-scale invasion.
We are always open to anyone who wants to contribute to our mission. We are determined to help Ukraine through these difficult times and rebuild it as an independent state.
